Scotty Mac has started where he left off last year by claiming the Adelaide 500 over the weekend.
Triple 8 racing also had a pretty solid start to the weekend as well with Jamie Whincup winning on Saturday and Shane Van Gisbergen nearly taking out race 2 on the Sunday before a small technical glitch (no fuel) stuffing his chances.
Hats off to Chaz Mostert who has adapted to the Holdens very nicely with a 2nd spot in race 2.
