“It’s a 9/10 for the NRL”

The NRL 9’s comp wrapped up last weekend over in Perth and it’s created a lot of discussion. The comp was entertaining to watch for sure, but some teams have walked away with an empty feeling.

The Panthers are dirty that a last second try was awarded to the Dragons, when replay’s show the ball was clearly placed outside the in goal try line which cost them their spot in the Semi Final against Parramatta.

The Dragons are hurting after a few of their players came away with long term injuries which saw Dufty have to catch a train home from Perth (to Sydney) as his fractured cheek bone meant he wasn’t allowed to fly.

The Nth QLD Cowboys won their 2nd 9’s Tournament and unearthed a talented winger (who unfortunately isn’t in their top 30 contracted players) that was equal try scorer of the comp.

What’s you thoughts Champions on how the NRL 9’s went?
